The Pringle Challenge was a project where we had to construct a package with one Pringle in it, that was able to be delivered to our teachers parent's home and back with getting a single crack. To Chino, California back to Point Loma, California.
We used cotton balls so that it was a nice comfy base and it wasn't on a hard plastic base. The cotton balls gave it comfort and it was pretty much like memory foam it fit to the pringle. we used the cotton pads to just make it more secure and fluffy. We mainly put the cotton pads around the sides and the bottom and top. Extra protection.
We used cotton balls and cotton pads to get low mass, we also used a yogurt container because it's about the same size as the pringle. To calculate our score we had to divide the mass by 1000 to get to kilograms then multiply that by the volume then multiply the answer by 100. I wouldn't do anything different because did get a 10 in intactness, and sometimes it's bad to over protect your pringle because you would be smothering it so it's good to surround your pringle light material. I think 5 out of 9 groups got a perfect intactness score of 10, as well as my group.
